Blog #4 inclined planes, wedges, and screws

An inclined plane is used to make an upward or downward motion easier.  An example of this would be a ramp for the handicapped people.  A screw is used to keep objects together.  An example would be a screw in a house keeping  a door knob. A wedge is used to make things split apart easier.  Like an axe chopping wood.

Blog #3- lever, pulley, and wheel and axle

A lever is a simple machine that helps you lift things that are really heavy. The closer the fulcrum is to the load the less force you have to apply to lift it.  A pulley is used to lift things in the air using a rope, wheel, and axle. A pulley helps change the direction of an object.  A wheel and axleis used to mave a heavier load.  The wheel doesn`t always have to be round.

Blog #2 project runway

I made a neck chain that I braided with electrical wire.  I was inspired by the guy off of Fast Five with a neck chain.  There are inclined plainson the main piece of the chain.  youcould use the inclined plains as a wind turbine.  Wich you could find on a wind farm.
